Croker Bay
is an arctic waterway in the Qikiqtaaluk region, Nunavut, Canada. It is located off the south coast of Devon Island in the eastern high Arctic. Like Maxwell Bay to the west, it is an arm of Lancaster Sound and Barrow Strait.
The abandoned port of Dundas is 32.1 miles east. The glacier is receding but is still reaching the sea. The area is a breeding ground for fulmars and kittiwakes, and seals are common sightings and the occasional walrus.
The broad face of the glacier, which is surrounded by a spectacular, stacked plateau made of different colored layers of rock, was a fantastic photo opportunity.
