My unusual route from the Artic to Antarctica

I have long dreamed of taking the Panamericana from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, but after careful planning I realized that a more direct route was out of the question for me as there are so many beautiful national parks and natural wonders I can find outside of Die USA may want to find Panamericana.
As a long-time professional photographer for various international companies and now retired, I would like to pursue my passion as landscape, animal and portrait photography.
My journey begins in Svalbard and leads over islands, Greenland, Iceland, the Northwest Passage and Alaska via North and South America to Tierra del Fuego and on to Antarctica.
On the first part of this trip my son Daniel, who also has some pictures of Svalbard, and my Australian friend Kim Cannon, one of the best travel photographers in the world that I know. Thank you Kim for showing me the most distant and beautiful places in the Arctic and Antarctic. On this homepage I show you, dear visitors, the beauty of this detailed journey.
The Unimog was completely rebuilt from October 2020 to April 2021 and was extensively tested with trips to France, Faroe Islands and Iceland and traveled to Alaska in 2022.
