Arctic and Antarctica
Fascination "ice"
After working as a photographer for various international companies for many years, I have decided to devote myself entirely to my secret passion in retirement: landscape, animal and portrait photography. My journey began in Svalbard and took me via Iceland, Greenland, the Northwest Passage and Alaska to Antarctica.
During the first part of the trip I was accompanied by my son Daniel, who contributed some of the images from Svalbard, and my Australian friend Kim Cannon, one of the best travel photographers in the world. Kim enabled me to explore the most remote places in the far north all the way to Antarctica by ship. On this homepage I would like to introduce you, dear visitors, to the wonders and beauties of this extraordinary journey.

The fascination of
Landscape photography
When you stand on the exposed rock early in the morning after a difficult climb, with a carpet of fog beneath you and a pink, orange glow on the horizon making the dark mountain backdrop in the foreground glow, then you know why you made the effort. These moments are indescribably beautiful and I tried to capture them with my camera.

My passion
artistic photography and AI
schwarz weiß fotografie
Black and white photography tests our imagination like no other art form. Because although it reveals invisible worlds, it still moves in the realm of the invisible - between light and shadow, between light and dark. With AI, I am now re-editing some of the subjects I photographed previously and can thus give free rein to my creativity.
